How does wire concealment work?
There’s a common misunderstanding when it comes to cable management and wire concealment. Once a building construction has been completed, the wire is usually limited to vertical runs of just a few feet within the interior walls only.

Why does wire concealment work this way?
The reason behind this is because of studs that exist every 16 inches to which sheetrock is attached from both sides. You can’t pass through it without drilling a hole. If you try to drill through more than one stud at an angle, you will pop out of the wall on the other side.

How do we make this work then?
You can fish a wire vertically through the cavity inside the wall in between the studs, and drill up or down into the attic or crawl space (you can’t drill down if there is a fireplace in the way). Running the wire horizontally can only be achieved by going all the way up into the attic or down into the crawl space, to the horizontal distance to your location, and then back up through the wall vertically to the other end. Can you conceal the wires behind the wall above my fireplace?
This completely depends on the structure and design of your home. However, this may be possible if your fireplace is on an interior wall, if you have an accessible attic space directly above, or if the fireplace protrudes from the wall 6 inches or greater. Another option is external concealment in low profile white plastic channels discreetly placed along the wall and trim. Either way, our experts will inform you of the best-case scenario upon inspection of your unique situation.

When is your earliest appointment available?
Scheduling is usually available no more than 3-5 days out. It may take up to 2 weeks prior to major events, US holidays or broadcasting sports events. This includes Christmas, Prime Day, Memorial & Labour Day, Superbowl.

What is the ideal height to mount a TV?
In most scenarios, the ideal height to mount a TV is so that it’s middle is at the eye level of the viewers – about 5’10’’/ 5 feet 10 inches. If the area is smaller and viewers are watching not too far away from the TV, it may be preferred ar a lower level of about 6-12 inches. Except in commercial applications or rare circumstances the range of TV height would be from 4 feet / 48 inches to 6 and a half feet / 80 inches.
